Conservative media echoed their utterances, stoking confrontation.

Minju Joson Saturday observes in a commentary in this regard:

It is a publicly recognized fact that during her European junkets Park malignantly hurled mud at the DPRK, revealing her ulterior intention to escalate the confrontation.

This found a vivid expression in a series of her silly behaviors. Wherever she went, she cried out for "the north's dismantlement of its nukes" and "solution to the human rights issue" and earnestly implored West European countries to specify them in joint documents. Not content with this, she shamelessly visited the European Union to ask it "to render sustained cooperation in the international efforts to lead the north to dismantling its nukes and making changes." She did so, unaware of where she stood and lost to shame.

One may call the answer given by the spokesman for the CPRK very polite one when compared with Park's backbiting. It is beyond doubt that she keeps mum about it. However, those minions of the ministry and her other yes men are getting frantic with groundlessly hurling mud at the north.

The word "disgraceful" uttered by them might be misplaced. It is odd indeed that they uttered the word to us though it was appropriate to Park. They might please the chief executive through such politically motivated fraud but it was only ill-fame that the ministry earned for their despicable behavior.

The south Korean regime would be well advised to behave itself, bearing in mind that its backbiting against others would only bring to light its ugly colors.
