Rodong Sinmun Slams Japan's Sinister Scenario for Overseas Invasion
Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Japanese Prime Minister Abe insisted on the justice of setting up a "national security council" at the meeting of the House of Councillors on Nov. 8., claiming that Japan's security environment is further disturbed by the DPRK's "nuclear and missile threat."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a commentary in this regard:

This indicates that the Japanese reactionaries' moves for militarization have reached their height.

It is the only aim of the "national security council" to work out a "national security strategy" and realize Japan's ambitions for militarization and overseas invasion under the pretext of the DPRK's "nuclear and missile threat".

It is the invariable scenario of the Japanese reactionaries to realize the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" which they failed to do during the Second World War.

They have driven the chariot of militarism at breakneck speed.

The present Japanese government, blinded by its ambition for overseas invasion, has made desperate efforts to lay down the institutional and legal framework for overseas invasion as evidenced by its moves to reorganize the "Self-Defence Forces" into "National Defence Army" and retrogressively revise the constitution, etc.

Japan's "Self-Defence Forces" are being armed with the latest war hardware for overseas invasion.

The Japanese authorities should bear in mind that the moves stepped up by them for turning Japan into a military giant and launching overseas invasion under the pretext of non-existent threat from others would only precipitate their own self-destruction.
