On display there are at least 140 computer programs, more than 120 scientific measuring apparatuses and sports apparatuses and many sports medicines and nutrients produced by over 110 units.

Present there were officials concerned, scientists and technicians in the field of physical culture and sports and officials in charge of science and technology of sports teams.

Ri Jong Mu, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, in an opening address said that progress has been made in the work to contrive and develop valuable computer programs, sports apparatuses and medicines conducive to the development of the nation's sports thanks to the devoted efforts of scientists and technicians across the country.

He called upon the participants to put all sports processes on an IT and scientific basis, explore new areas of sports science and technology and thereby contribute to exalting the dignity and honor of Juche Korea.

Then the participants went round scientific and technological achievements on display.
