U.S. Talk about "Threat from North Korea" Ridiculed

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- It is illogical for the U.S. to talk about "threat" from the DPRK as the former has stockpiled more nuclear weapons and delivery means than any others in the world, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in an article. Such story floated by the U.S. is aimed to justify its military moves to realize its ambition for world domination under the pretext of "threat" from the DPRK, the article notes, and goes on: After working out the pivot to Asia-Pacific strategy to dominate the world in the new century, the U.S. has put spurs to carrying it out. It is contemplating building a missile shield in the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula while pushing forward the establishment of the missile defense system (MD) in Europe. The U.S. completion of the MD in Europe and Asia in the future would lead to laying a huge siege. This is triggering off a rebuff among the regional big powers. The U.S. needed an excuse for calming down the rebuff and attaining its aim with ease. This is the reason why Washington is floating the fiction about the nuclear and missile "threats" from the DPRK. These reckless moves stepped up by it under the pretext of those threats are further straining the situation in the Asia-Pacific region and increasing the danger of a nuclear war. The tension on the Korean Peninsula, in particular, is being retched up, rendering the situation there so alarming that a war may break any moment. Facts go to prove that the nuclear and missile "threats" from the DPRK touted by the U.S. is nothing but hypocrisy and those threats come from the U.S. |
