Anniversary of Establishment of Diplomatic Ties between DPRK, Bulgaria Marked

Pyongyang, November 20 (KCNA) -- A Bulgarian photo exhibition was opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Center for Cultural Exchange with Foreign Countries on Wednesday under the co-sponsorship of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the Bulgarian embassy here and the DPRK-Bulgaria Friendship Association on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and Bulgaria.

Present there were So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, members of the DPRK-Bulgaria Friendship Association, officials concerned, Pyongyangites, Plamen Shukyurliev, Bulgarian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.

Present there on invitation were diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations and foreign embassy officials here.

The speakers said that the exhibition would contribute to boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the peoples of the two countries.

The participants looked round photos showing the cultural heritages of Bulgaria registered in the UNESCO and its natural scenery.
