Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers and officials of production units and science and education institutions in the field of illumination engineering.

Displayed there were various kinds of luminous source and voltage regulators including over 110 kinds of more than 400 LED lamps presented by Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang Lighting Appliances Factory, etc.

Scores of papers were made public there.

Participants exchanged successes and experiences which were gained in putting the production processes of lighting apparatus on a scientific and modern basis and in solving the scientific and technological problems arising in the project for the decoration of the cities, monumental edifices and leisure centers of the people at night with lamplights.

Papers including the illumination designing of LED digital signal apparatus presented by Kim Chaek University of Technology were highly appreciated as they are of great significance in practice.

Different exhibits aroused interest of the participants.

Among them are LED floodlights, LED lamps and large-sized LED electric boards.
