Present there were figures of different units including Phnom Penh City Council and municipal administration office of Phnom Penh.

Present there on invitation were the DPRK ambassador to the country and his embassy members.

Participants laid floral baskets before the sign of the Generalissimo Kim Il Sung Street.

A member of the City Council said:

The friendly relations between the two countries are developing on good terms true to the noble desire of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and they will be forever in the future, too.

We will preserve and manage the street, the symbol of the friendship of the two peoples.

We wish supreme leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Un greater success in his noble work for building a thriving nation.
