Lyudmil Kostadinov, chief of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising leader Kim Jong Il's noble life and his immortal exploits on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of his demise.
