Ji Jae Ryong in his speech said that the conclusion of the agreement laid the firm foundation for expanding the traditional DPRK-China friendship to various fields.

He stressed that the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun started on Mt. Paektu will be successfully carried forward and accomplished as long as there are the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un and the unity of the army and people closely rallied around him with one idea and intention.

He wished the fraternal Chinese people bigger success in their drive to realize the dream of China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China with Xi Jinping as its general secretary.

The vice-minister of Commerce of China said that over the past six decades China and the DPRK have waged the brisk exchange and cooperation in various fields including economy and culture through mutual support and friendly cooperation, adding:

We are rejoiced over the fact that the Korean people are registering successes in the drive for economic construction and improvement of the people's living standard under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Un despite all sorts of trials.

We express the belief that greater progress would be made in the Sino-DPRK relations under the care of the leaders of the two countries and thanks to the common efforts of both sides.
