The statement condemned the south Korean conservative group for working hard to eliminate all progressive political parties, organizations and media which criticize its treacherous policy and call for democracy and the implementation of the north-south joint declarations by branding them as "forces following the north" and "benefiting the enemy" just as the "yusin" dictator did.

It went on:

The group is hell-bent on stamping out the progressive and democratic forces at the point of bayonet. Lurking behind this is a sinister ploy of the group to tide over the ruling crisis caused by the disclosure of the truth about the case of the illegal interference in the election by power organs which helped the group seize power through swindles and plots during the "presidential election" last year and the actions of the people declaring the Park Geun Hye's election null and void, and to realize its ambition for long-term office.

South Korea is standing at the crossroads of whether it defends democracy or goes back to the period when the fascist tyranny swept it.

The south Koreans should never allow the revival of the "yusin" dictatorship.

Only when the revival of the "yusin" dictatorship is checked, is it possible to achieve the vital rights and democracy, improve the inter-Korean relations and ensure peace on the Korean Peninsula.

The south Korean people should wage a more dynamic struggle to defend democracy and the people from all walks of life should get united and rise up as one in the struggle to realize democracy against fascist dictatorship.

All Koreans in Russia will always stand by the south Korean people in their struggle for justice and positively support them in their actions for democracy against the "yusin" dictatorship.
