While staying in the DPRK, we visited Mangyongdae where Kim Il Sung, a close friend of the Chinese people, was born, Liu Ying said, and went on:

Our visit to his birthplace offered an opportunity to know well about his revolutionary career.

After embarking upon the road of revolution in his early years he liberated the country and wisely led the people to build a new country.

His family members also dedicated themselves to the country and its people.

Many people come to the birthplace and once again look back with deep emotion on his revolutionary career.

The Korean people boundlessly revere him.

The immortal exploits performed by him in the struggle for carrying out the human cause of independence will shine forever.

He fought alongside Chinese revolutionaries against the Japanese imperialists during the great anti-Japanese war.

The Korean people underwent very hard trials during the Korean war.

The armies and peoples of the two countries won a victory by fighting shoulder to shoulder in one and the same trench.

The Sino-DPRK friendship was provided by President Kim Il Sung, great leader of the Korean people, and Chinese revolutionaries of the elder generation.

The two countries have promoted the development of the Sino-DPRK friendly relations in the struggle for carrying out the common cause, fully demonstrating their vitality.

I wish the Korean people greater success in building a thriving nation under the wise guidance of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.
