Trees Planted at Arboretum of Kumsusan Palace of Sun
Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and agricultural workers from across the country planted trees at the arboretum of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Tuesday.

Officials of the Central Committee of the Union, officials of the union in cities (districts) and counties of Pyongyang, North and South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae provinces brought there more than 8 000 trees and saplings of 19 species, 32 500 flower roots of 8 species including peony and flower seeds. Among them were officials of the primary organizations of the union at the Sahyon Cooperative Farm, Pyoksong County who brought with them good species of trees and flower roots and farmers of the Wonhung Farm in Anju City and the Obong Cooperative Farm in Nyongbyon County who brought with them gingko trees and Changsong larch tree saplings they raised in their courtyards.

They planted trees with sincere desire to contribute to sprucing up the area around the palace, the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il lie in state.
