Data Proving Japanese Imperialists' Organized Crimes during Great Kanto Quake Opened to Public

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The south Korean paper Kukmin Ilbo on Nov. 25 carried an editorial as regards the disclosure of data proving that the Japanese government was behind the massacres of Koreans during the great Kanto quake. A document on the survey of Korean victims during the rule of the Japanese imperialists believed to have been worked out decades ago was recently discovered at the south Korean puppet embassy in Tokyo. It specified how dozens of Koreans were killed, adding that a woman of them was gunned down by a Japanese MP. In order to conceal the truth about the massacres of Koreans during the great Kanto quake the Japanese authorities have so far passed the buck for the mass killings to such civilian organizations as "ultra-right organizations". Recently they did such a disgusting thing as reflecting this claim in textbooks. But the recent discovery of data on the shooting to death of the Korean woman by the Japanese MP who was acting under the command of the government proved that the crimes during the quake were committed in an organized manner. This is evidence proving that the Japanese government was directly involved in the mass killings of Koreans in those days, the editorial said. It urged the Japanese government to give an honest answer to the data. Noting that it is hardly understandable that the south Korean authorities have kept this record undisclosed for decades, the editorial demanded the regime give a clear explanation about this. |
