Sit-in Strike Staged in S. Korea in Demand of Impartial Broadcasting
Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Core members of the south Korean Press Trade Union on Nov. 25 staged a sit-in strike outside the building of the "National Assembly" in demand of impartial broadcasting.

Prior to the sit-in strike the participants held a press conference.

At the press conference speakers accused public broadcasting services of getting busy conducting a coloring offensive against the religionists who held a mass on the situation demanding the resignation of Park Geun Hye.

South Korean media are in such bad shape that they have to worry about their rise or fall as public broadcasting services fail to play their roles after becoming waiting maids of power, they deplored.

Imbalance will get worse, if media stand by power and capital, they held.

We have no longer hope that Park Geun Hye will guarantee the freedom of the press, they said, calling for setting right the balance of media by the efforts of the people.

They declared they would join civic organizations in fighting at the risk of their lives for impartial broadcasting.
