DPRK Table Tennis Players Introduced by Chinese Paper

| Beijing, November 27 (KCNA) -- The November 24 issue of the Chinese People's Daily carried an article titled "Ace players crowned with laurels of victory together after cutting conspicuous figures in table-tennis" contributed by its Pyongyang correspondent. DPRK players Kim Hyok Bong and Kim Jong defeated all their rivals and won gold medals at the 52nd World Table Tennis Championship held in Paris and the 6th East Asian Games in Tianjin, China, the paper said, and went on: Spectators were deeply impressed by the two champions making salutes towards the flag of the DPRK at the podium. Particularly Kim Jong, tears rolling down from her eyes, was appreciated as a "very beautiful girl" by netizens. The DPRK government hosted a banquet in their honor and provided them with new flats. Kim Hyok Bong said that he and Kim Jong received very deep loving care, adding they would surely repay it. They are now busy preparing for the 2016 Olympic Games. |
