Minju Joson Saturday in a commentary dismisses his remarks as sheer sophism, stressing that the chief executive and puppet group are architects prodding the south Koreans into actions against the "government".

Ryu's anti-DPRK rubbish just reflects the last-ditch efforts of those who are embarrassed by the actions of the people hitting their vulnerable point, the news analyst says, emphasizing that this is an intentional political provocation against the DPRK and an insult to the south Koreans.

Irony is that Ryu said he "exercised restraint for the development of the south-north relations even though there are a lot of things to mention about the inside situation of the north", the commentary notes, and goes on:

He is directly in charge of the issue of the north-south relations in south Korea. It does not mean that he is ignorant of the DPRK to speak out such disgusting rhetoric.

Turning to the "confidence-building process", Ryu said that this process calls for orientating toward the relations by which both sides trust each other even though they may hold dialogue and make exchanges and cooperation on a small-scale. This indicates the impudence of Ryu who can be admired even by those who earned ill fame in history as big liars.

To reflect on the successive Unification ministers of south Korea, no one was such a big political swindler as Ryu who is accustomed to making whopping lies.
