Alexander Fedosov, minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Administration and chairman of the Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Khabarovsk Territory, was elected chairman of the remembrance committee.

The committee set the remembrance period from November 26 to December 17 and decided to hold various political and cultural events to introduce the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the second anniversary of his demise.
