British Organizations Accuse Japanese Authorities of Discriminating Koreans in Japan
|
|
Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association made public a joint statement on November 20 in denunciation of the Japanese authorities' discrimination against Koreans in Japan. To deny the right to learn of Koreans in Japan is a hideous human rights abuse and extreme racial discrimination, the statement said, and went on: It is the elementary right of human beings to be schooled. But this right is not provided to the Koreans in Japan, a persecution against innocent Koreans in Japan and part of the Japanese reactionaries' harsh moves. Japan was the most aggressive imperialist state which reduced Korea and other Asian countries to its colonies in the past. If Japan is to escape criticism by the world people as a racist state and fascist authorities, it should stop at once its mean and vicious discrimination act against the Koreans in Japan. |
