S. Korean Ruling Party Slammed for Opposing Guarantee of Labor Right

Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- The Confederation of Trade Unions, the Women's Trade Union, the Woman Workers Society and other organizations of south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the "National Assembly" on Nov. 28 in protest against the puppet ruling party opposing the guarantee of the labor right.

At the press conference speakers recalled that on Nov. 26 the spokesman for the "Saenuri Party" said that the new proposal for settling the employment issue of woman workers engaged in cleaning will ensure the three labor rights and if then they can stage a strike. This is little short of revealing his stand of ignoring the labor right, they noted, adding: Far from relieving the people of their pain, he took it for granted.

He was opposed to this for fear that workers get united, they said, urging him to make an apology for his reckless remarks at once and opt for settling the employment issue.
