Present there were Minister of Public Health Kang Ha Guk, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned, persons with disabilities, members of missions of international bodies including the European Union Programme Support in Pyongyang, diplomatic envoys and embassy members of different countries and overseas compatriots staying in the homeland.

Speakers at the meeting referred to the successes achieved in the work for meeting interests and providing convenience to persons with disabilities in the last period.

They said that they would develop the work with them by improving exchange and cooperation with different international bodies and overseas compatriots.

Participants enjoyed a performance given by artistes of the National Folk Art Troupe and members of the art group of persons with disabilities.

Prior to the meeting the participants watched exhibited photos and looked round light industrial products and handicrafts which were presented by persons with disabilities.

There was a seminar of officials concerned with the work for the persons with disabilities on Monday.
