Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- Thongil, the newspaper of Koreans in Uzbekistan, carried a special write-up on November 21. The paper edited impressions given by a Korean artiste in Uzbekistan after taking part in the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the DPRK in September, illustrated with photos of the parade of Worker-Peasant Red Guards, the grand gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang", winner of Kim Il Sung Prize, and the Monument to the Three Charters for National Reunification. In the impressions the artiste expressed great excitement at watching Marshal Kim Jong Un standing in the tribune of honor at Kim Il Sung Square when the parade of the Worker-Peasant Red Guards was taking place and drew strength and courage from the columns of the paraders and weaponry and equipment passing through the square in fine array and the single-minded unity of the army and people. The visit to the International Friendship Exhibition House offered me an occasion to keenly feel the reverence of the world people for the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the artiste noted, and continued: Modern Changjon Street and service centers for the people such as Rungna People's Pleasure Park built under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un helped me know about his policy of love for the people. The paper carried photos of Koryo Sungkyunkwan Academy, the Nam Gate of Kaesong, Manwoltae, Kaesong Walls, Sungyang School and Kaesong Chomsongdae Observatory, historic relics of Kaesong registered as world cultural heritages. Under the title "Results of contest baffling imagination " the paper introduced news that DPRK divers came first in the 2013 Grand Prix Diving Game (stage 6) sponsored by the International Federation of Swimming in Kazan, Russia. |
