University Graduate Volunteers to Teach Children on Islet

Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- Jo Pom Hyang who graduated from Kim Hyong Jik University of Education volunteered to teach children on a forefront islet in the West Sea at a time when admirable traits of devoting oneself to the country and its people are displayed in the DPRK every day. After finishing all her courses at the university with good results, she made up her mind to make her life as an educator worthwhile at a school on the islet far away from Pyongyang, her birthplace. A farewell ceremony took place at the university on Thursday. She extended profound thanks to Marshal Kim Jong Un who showed her such deep loving care as making sure that Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize was awarded to her in recognition of her admirable deed and renewed her resolution to dedicate herself to the education of children, always bearing in mind the benevolence of the Party and expectation of her Alma Mater. |
