Leader Kim Jong Il provided field guidance to the factory on December 9, Juche 100 (2011). He showed such loving care as technologically updating the factory to produce quality knitwear and hosiery for the people in South Hamgyong Province.

True to his behest, the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea set forth tasks to be fulfilled by the factory to turn it into the one with high production capacity and took measures to hasten the project.

Encouraged by the loving care and trust of the party and the leader, the employees of the factory and shock brigade members and officials from institutions and enterprises in the province have completed the project in a matter of a little over a year since they started it.

The updating of the factory helped lay another foundation for successfully carrying out the behests of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who worked heart and soul to provide the people with quality vinalon knitwear.

An inaugural ceremony was held on Friday.

Present there were officials concerned, employees of the factory, builders and helpers.

A letter of thanks of the Central Committee of the WPK to the builders and officials who performed labor feats in the project was conveyed at the ceremony.
