S. Korean Regime Accused of Yielding to U.S. Pressure
Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) - At least 40 organizations of south Korea including the People's Solidarity for Revising Unequal SOFA held a press conference in Seoul on Dec. 4 denouncing the puppet authorities for yielding to the U.S. pressure on south Korea to increase its share of upkeep of the U.S. forces.

At the press conference speakers said that the U.S. illegally accumulated more than a trillion won out of the upkeep of its forces collected from south Korea but is pressurizing it to increase next year's upkeep to over a trillion won.

The south Korean regime is, however, contemplating increasing the upkeep of the U.S. forces, they said, adding it is a serious problem that the regime is not rejecting the demand for increasing the upkeep, far from taking back the fund illegally accumulated by the U.S. forces.

If the authorities yield to the unreasonable demand of the U.S., they will encounter strong resistance of the people, the speakers warned.
