An article titled "Achievements Made by Socialist Korea in 2013" was posted by an Italian internet magazine on Nov. 26.

The article said:

The government of the DPRK set forth various lines to strengthen Juche-based socialism and performed great achievements in 2012, the year marking the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung.

In 2013, too, the Korean people registered big successes in socialist construction.

The eye-opening development of the DPRK is contrary to the smear campaign made by the West against it.

The article referred to the fact that the construction of various facilities and projects conducive to the welfare and living of people including Unha Scientists Street, Munsu Water Park and Okryu Children's Hospital was completed in the DPRK and a lot of scientific and technical successes were made this year.

The British paper The New Worker in an article on Nov. 22 introduced Pyongyang University of Dramatic and Cinematic Arts marking its 60th birthday. It noted in detail that the university developed into a center for training dramatic and film artists under the meticulous care of Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.
