Reunification Activist Arrested by S. Korean Police

| Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Pusan Metropolitan Police Agency arrested the chairman of the Pusan and South Kyongsang Provincial Association of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification on December 7 on charges of violation of the "Security Law", according to the south Korean MBC. The south Korean police committed the violence, claiming that the chairman acted to the "benefit of the enemy", notably by rendering cooperation to the north's propaganda activities against the south in touch with a member of an "organization against the state" in Japan from February 2009. In June the police searched his house and office room and confiscated a lot of data. |
