The statement said that all the party members of the New Yugoslav Communist Party are remembering with deep emotion the noble career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to accomplishing the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence.

It went on:

Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and thoroughly embodied it to socialist construction, turning the DPRK into the political, ideological and military power.

He performed distinguished exploits in party building and activities while leading the Workers' Party of Korea for a long time. His theory on party building and leadership feats serve as a genuine textbook which all the progressive political parties should take as guidelines in their struggle.

He pursued the unique Songun politics to defend socialism and safeguard the peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and in the world, foiling the moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK.

His idea and cause are being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people.

The New Yugoslav Communist Party is convinced that the Korean people would surely realize the idea and cause of Kim Jong Il under the wise leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
