At Least 20,000 S. Korean People Condemn Park Geun Hye Regime

Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- 25 political parties and civic and public organizations including the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, the People's Action for Opposing War and Realizing Peace and the Unified Progressive Party held an emergency rally on the situation in Seoul on Dec. 7, declaring judgment of the Park Geun Hye regime.

It was attended by more than 20,000 people from all walks of life.

A resolution was read out at the meeting.

It said that no sooner had the regime taken office than peace was threatened and it reneged on its commitments.

The departed soul of "yusin" has been called back in south Korea, it has turned into a lawless land for the tycoons and the division persists, it noted.

It condemned the regime's act of covering up truth about the fraudulent election conducted with all power bodies involved, the suppression of the south Korean Teachers Union and the Government Employees' Union, the witch hunt for eliminating "forces following the north" and the deterioration of the people's living.

It said that the Park regime's revival of "yusin" itself shows its weakness.

It called upon all people including the workers, peasants and poor people to turn out in the actions to judge the regime.

At the end of the rally, its participants staged a demonstration.
