They included remembrance meetings, book, photo and handicraft exhibitions and film shows in India, China, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Romania and Ethiopia between December 2 and 9.

On display in the venues of the events were photos documenting revolutionary activities of Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un. Also displayed there were works of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of Koreans.

Speakers including a secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India praised Kim Jong Il for developing and enriching the Juche idea into a great idea steering the era of independence, firmly protecting the dignity and sovereignty of the country and nation with his unique Songun politics and laying an eternal foundation for building a thriving socialist nation.

The director general of a Chinese folkart center said that the film show offered an opportunity to know better about Kim Jong Il's noble outlook on the people, praising him as popular leader who devoted himself to the happiness of the people, mixing with them all his life.

The chairman of the Senat Ship and Trading Private Limited Co. of Singapore stressed that Kim Jong Il was an outstanding statesman who made a great contribution to the prosperity of the country, happiness of its people, the cause of national reunification and global peace.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted in the event held in India.
