Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Demise Observed by Foreign Papers
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of various countries carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.

The Russian paper Komsomolskaya Pravda on Nov. 27 devoted a full page to an article titled "The eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK" illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

He is the eternal chairman of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK, the article said, adding that he established the state machinery system with the NDC as its pivot, firmly ensured the legal foundation of the Songun politics and thus provided a cornerstone for the eternal prosperity of the DPRK.

The Nepalese paper Gorkha Express on Dec. 2 carried an article titled "The aim of Songun politics" illustrated with a photo of supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Noting Kim Jong Il led the service personnel and people of the DPRK to victory under the banner of Songun since he started his Songun revolutionary leadership by visiting the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su 105 Guard Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on Aug. 25, 1960, it introduced in detail the essence and vitality of the Songun politics.

The Bangladeshi paper Weekly Industry on Dec. 1 carried an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il will always live", which said:

In the sudden demise of Kim Jong Il, leader of the DPRK, the world lost the most prominent great man.

He will always live in the hearts of the Korean people and progressive humanity.

Another Bangladeshi paper Natun Bangla on Dec. 1 in an article titled "Legacies bequeathed by leader Kim Jong Il" lauded his greatness.
