Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People posted an article titled "Horrible human rights abuses on Day of World Declaration of Human Rights" on Dec. 11. The article noted the World Declaration of Human Rights stipulates that anyone has the right to enjoy freedom of opinion and expression. The International Rules of Human Rights adopted in 1966 also gives a clear exposition of the freedom of expression, it added. However, the freedom of expression is being snubbed and becoming a target of suppression in south Korea, it noted, terming it a wanton violation of human rights. It blamed Park Geun Hye for making remarks threatening an opposition party on Dec. 10, the Day of the World Declaration of Human Rights, adding: It is, indeed, a violation of the World Declaration of Human Rights that the power organs are taking the lead in snubbing people's opinion and kicking up a racket of suppression. Human rights abuses are rampant in south Korea. No one can find out an excuse even if south Korea is termed the worst tundra of human rights. |
