Rodong Sinmun Rebukes S. Korean Regime's Mean Behavior

Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet chief executive, when recently meeting with the U.S. vice-president, asked for "intensifying cooperation in denuclearizing the north", claiming that "alliance with the U.S. is a core axis of stability and peace and it is developing in depth". The south Korean prime minister also cried out for "broad-based strategic alliance of the 21st century style" and "careful cooperation". Rodong Sinmun Sunday observes in a commentary in this regard: This is a criminal act of the south Korean regime as it is driving the situation on the Korean Peninsula and in the region into a catastrophe as a shock brigade for carrying out its master's hostile policy toward the DPRK and Asia strategy without the dignity and self-respect of the nation, depending on foreign forces and escalating confrontation with fellow countrymen. The regime is begging its U.S. master to intensify the "alliance" as it is seeking to do harm to fellow countrymen at any cost by intensifying cooperation with the U.S. against the DPRK under the pretext of the nuclear issue. It announced the "motion on expanding air defence discrimination zone" under the approval of the U.S., a reckless adventure aggravating the regional situation. By doing so, it fully revealed before the international community its poor colors as a servant abandoning the interests of the nation and carrying out the Asia strategy of its masters U.S. and Japan, keen on sycophantic diplomacy. With nothing can the south Korean authorities conceal their criminal colors as the group of traitors pushing the inter-Korean relations to a collapse and sparking off tensions while bringing to light their bad habit of sycophancy and dependence on foreign forces. They should stop acting rashly, well aware that sycophancy and confrontation with fellow countrymen will bring disgraceful ruin only. |
