Present there were personages of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and University of London, Presidency, National Resistance Movement, Committee for Remembering Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Kyambogo University, Makerere University and the National Executive Committee of the Pan-African Movement in Uganda, companies in Indonesia and the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and masses.

Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, said that Kim Jong Il was a brilliant Songun commander who consolidated the defence capabilities of the country in every way to firmly defend and glorify socialism, holding high the banner of Songun, adding:

He smashed the imperialists' moves against socialism and the DPRK and advanced socialism dynamically through his Songun revolutionary leadership. This is his extraordinary contribution to the global cause of independence.

A professor of University of London said Kim Jong Il was a gifted thinker and theoretician who clearly indicated the way for the popular masses to carry out the cause of independence and that the position and significance of the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung in the world history have been clearer thanks to the ideological and theoretical activities of Kim Jong Il.

Speakers including the senior adviser to the Ugandan president praised Kim Jong Il for making a great contribution to the cause of anti-imperialist independence.

Speakers at the seminar held in Indonesia expressed the conviction that Korea will be surely reunified in the near future under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, saying that peace on the Korean Peninsula has been ensured and Korean style socialism won victory after victory despite vicious moves of the imperialist allied forces as Kim Jong Il pursued the Songun politics.

They said that exploits Kim Jong Il performed in accomplishing the global cause of independence will be immortal.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in the UK.
