Foreigners, Overseas Compatriots Visit Kumsusan Palace of Sun

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Foreign diplomats and guests and overseas compatriots staying in the homeland visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Tuesday, the 2nd anniversary of demise of General Secretary Kim Jong Il. They included the diplomatic corps and military attaches corps here, family members of Zhang Weihua, anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr in China, and family members of Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Bao-zhong, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle. They paid high tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. They entered the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state and made bows to him. They looked round the hall where orders he received are on display and the halls that house a car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him during his field guidance and foreign trips till the last moments of his life. They made entries in the visitor's book. |
