French Organization Ridicules U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association on Dec. 10 posted on its website an article titled "U.S. foolish diplomacy" which ridiculed the U.S. policy toward the DPRK.

The article said:

The U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK reminds one of the fools jumping into a water pool for fear of rain only to find themselves in bigger trouble.

The U.S. has not made any proposal to put an end to the armistice on the Korean Peninsula since 1953. It has insisted on the "complete, verifiable and irretrievable nuclear dismantlement" of the DPRK as regards the settlement of the nuclear issue and considered it as the "best solution."

The present U.S. administration is resorting to the policy of "strategic patience", repeating the above-said foolish diplomacy.

Of late not only the U.S. administration but experts of the military assert that the policy of "strategic patience" has proved fruitless and it is the only way for the U.S. to make a switchover in its policy and opt for talks in order to settle the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. is satisfied with the continued tensions on the peninsula and rendering the situation tenser.

Under the pretext of tensions, it is seeking to maintain and bolster up its forces in this region of strategic importance.
