The book, a library of the immortal Juche idea and the Songun idea, comprehensively deals with works of General Secretary Kim Jong Il in a chronological order.

It contains 101 works including speech, conclusion and talk made by him from August to December, Juche (51) 1962.

In his works "Let Us Strengthen the Unity and Cohesion of the Party Members in Thought and Purpose Based on the Revolutionary Idea of the Leader" and "Let Us Learn from the Intense Loyalty and Noble Revolutionary Spirit of the Revolutionary Forerunners" he underscored the need to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in every way and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Mt. Paektu.

"On the Original Principle of Building the Revolutionary Armed Forces Laid Down by the Great Leader" and other works deal with the principled issues to be maintained in building the revolutionary armed forces and tasks for bolstering up the country's defence capacity as firm as a rock.

The work "The DPRK Represents Genuine People's Power" says that the DPRK is the precious gain won by the Korean people in their bloody struggle under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and the genuine people's power and indicates the tasks to be fulfilled in steadily raising the function and role of the power organs.

Also contained in the book are works dealing with the tasks for rapidly developing the country's economy and improving the standard of people's living true to the economic policy of the WPK and ways to do so, and the tasks for establishing Juche in all sectors of literature and arts and further developing them.

It carries the work laying bare the exploiting and aggressive nature of the imperialists and calling for frustrating their war moves.

The book also edits the works giving the scientific and perfect answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolution and construction including the issues of thoroughly implementing the education policy of the WPK and preserving and managing well the cultural heritages of the nation.
