Kim Jong Il Remembered by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings, seminars, book and photo exhibitions and film shows took place in Cambodia, India, Iran and Egypt between December 7 and 14 on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Displayed in the venues of events were photos documenting exploits of Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were works of the peerlessly great men and books and photos introducing Songun Korea.

Present there were personages of all social standings and masses of relevant countries, those of international and regional bodies.

Present on invitation were staff members of the DPRK embassies in the relevant countries.

Participants paid silent tribute to Kim Jong Il.

The secretary general of the Funcinpec Party of Cambodia said that Kim Jong Il worked heart and soul to carry out the cause of reunification of Korea, adding that his devoted efforts would surely yield fruits.

Speakers including a secretary of the National Council of the Communist Party of India praised Kim Jong Il for performing feats for the sacred cause for the country and revolution and global independence.

The manager of the Iran-Korea Friendship Magsal Agro-Stock Farm praised Km Jong Il as an outstanding statesman who performed undying feats for the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event held in India.
