Japan Urged to Make Apology for Its Past Sexual Slavery Crime
Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea held the 1105th Wednesday rally on Dec. 18 outside the building of the Japanese embassy in Seoul demanding the settlement of the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

A statement was read out at the meeting.

It is more than 20 years since actions have started in demand of Japan's apology and reparation for the sexual slavery crime outside the building of the Japanese embassy in Seoul, the statement noted, adding:

Although documents proving the coercive nature of Japan's past sexual slavery crime have been opened to public, the government of Japan is still denying the fact of forcible drafting for sexual slavery and distorting its history of aggression.

Recently the Japanese government is gradually neutralizing the pacifist constitution and crying out for reviving militarism, saying it would "exercise the right to collective self-defense" and "introduce forces for preemptive attack".

The statement urged Japan to stop at once its moves for emerging a military power harassing peace and stability in Northeast Asia and make an official apology and legal reparation for its past sexual slavery crime.
