The security investigation group of the puppet Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency searched the house of the chairman of the Tobong District Committee of the Unified Progressive Party (UPP) on Thursday.

The police committed such violence on charges of the violation of the ill-famed "Security Law", claiming that he sympathized with and praised the idea of the north while working at the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration, the Seoul Solidarity for People's Right and others from 2008 and 2011.

On the same day the Seoul City Committee of the UPP said that he never worked at the above-said organizations, terming the police's violent act an investigation and suppression under the pretext of security in retaliation for the candle-right rally held by the UPP in Tobong District, Seoul in denunciation of the power organs' election rigging.
