It was established on Dec. 21, Juche 62(1973).

It has developed into a reliable construction unit of the nation having a strong construction force and a solid material and technical foundation under the wise leadership of the party and leader.

It completed the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, the Sungri Chemical Complex, the Ponghwa Chemical Factory and other large chemical industrial bases and dozens of construction projects.

A meeting took place on Saturday to observe the anniversary.

Present there were Kwak Pom Gi, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Tong Jong Ho, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, and officials concerned and employees of the complex.

A congratulatory letter sent by the Central Committee of the WPK to the workers, technicians and officials of the complex was read out at the meeting.

It highly appreciated the great achievements made by them in their efforts to implement the capital construction policy of the party.
