The Polish branch of the Korean Friendship Association said in its statement:

Kim Jong Il devoted his all to the people's happiness, always finding himself among them till the last moments of his life.

One of his greatest feats is that he turned the DPRK into a country that manufactures and launches satellites and a nuclear weapons state.

It was thanks to his energetic and dedicated efforts that the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration were adopted between the north and the south and a new turn was made in the cause for the reunification of Korea.

His undying feats will always be remembered by the Koreans and the progressive people.

Kim Jong Il is alive as the sun.

The Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association said as follows in its statement:

His Excellency Kim Jong Il was an outstanding revolutionary and a peerless great man.

He, with his transparent faith in socialism and matchless pluck, pursued unique Songun politics. This foiled the imperialists' moves to stifle the DPRK and demonstrated the dignity of the nation all over the world, thereby reliably defending the regional peace and security.

His noble idea and cause are being brilliantly carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un.

The future of the DPRK is bright as it is led by Kim Jong Un.
