Solidarity Action for Checking Privatization of Railway Service Called for

| Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People on Dec. 20 posted an editorial calling for intensifying solidarity action with the Railway Trade Union in the general strike for checking the authorities' privatization of railway service. The editorial said that the trade union is strongly protesting against the Park Geun Hye regime for moving to privatize railway service. A lot of people from all walks of life are now waging solidarity action, fully supporting the general strike of the trade union, it said, and went on: As the struggle for checking the privatization of railway service is being waged against the "government", not against any private capital, the solidarity action is the only way to win it. Democratic labor movement organizations should more actively turn out in the solidarity action. |
