Sports Contest for Osandok Prize Closes

| Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Sports contest for Osandok Prize closed with due ceremony at the Ice Rink on Thursday. It was opened on Dec. 3 to mark the 96th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk. Men of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau Sports Team and women of the Taesongsan Sports Team came first in the ice-hockey event respectively. The players of Taesongsan Sports Team placed first in figure-skating in team standing while the men of Hwaebul Sports Team and women of Jangsan Sports Team in short-track speed skating in team standing. Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned and sports persons. Cups and medals were awarded to the successful teams and players. |
