Two years have passed since Kim Jong Il passed away but the reverence and yearning of the Korean people and other progressive people across the world for him are getting stronger, it said, adding:

Kim Jong Il was an outstanding leader who successfully led the revolution and construction with his distinguished caliber while overcoming all sorts of hardships as a human being and a revolutionary and bringing miracles and great changes to the DPRK.

He is praised by all people as a prominent leader as he thoroughly embodied the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and developed the Songun politics in an all-round way to resolutely protect the sovereignty of the nation and socialism.

He won victory after victory in confrontation with the U.S. imperialists, taking the lead in the anti-imperialist struggle, and thus glorified the DPRK as a full-fledged and independent military power.

Thanks to his outstanding guidance the June 15 joint declaration based on the spirit of "By the Korean nation itself" was adopted between the north and the south of Korea to make a breakthrough in the barrier of the division forced upon the Korean people by the U.S. imperialists and usher in a new era of independent reunification.

He wisely led the anti-imperialist cause of the world people for independence.

He is invincible might and banner of victory for us.
