Speakers at the conference said the police stormed the headquarters of the Confederation of Trade Unions and arrested many unionists on December 22.

They went on:

It was very just act that they blocked the police illegally entering their offices without a search warrant.

The police, however, plans to indict and investigate all of them.

The authorities leave unpunished those who illegally interfered in the election and crack down on the workers engaged in acts for legitimate self-defence. Such fact is indicative of the future of the present regime.

They demanded the regime punish those chiefly responsible for the recent suppression and cancel the police plan to make indictment.
