S. Korean Authorities' Fascist Suppression of KCTU under Fire
|
|
Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the south Korean puppet authorities hurled police into the operation of searching the headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) without search warrant. The police pounded the entrance door of the headquarters with a hammer and searched offices, firing tear liquid and walking away at least 130 unionists who protested against the tyrannical action. This is a revelation of the criminal ploy to tide over their daily worsening ruling crisis, Minju Joson Sunday says in a commentary. It goes on: South Korean people of all social standings are waging dynamic actions in demand of the resignation of the puppet chief executive, who took office after wooing public mindset through the election that had been rigged with the help of the government power. Timed to coincide with this, railway workers launched a strike in protest against the privatization of railway service, and other labor circles are joining them, further deteriorating the ruling crisis of the regime. The puppet authorities, upset by this, are trying to find a way out in the fascist suppression of the people. The aim sought by them is to create an extremely terror-ridden atmosphere in the whole of south Korean society through such merciless fascist suppression and deter the people and trade union organizations from turning out in the anti-"government" struggle. The clear proof of this is the fact that they live-broadcasted the search of the KCTU headquarters. The puppet authorities will have to pay dearly for their crimes. |
