Present at the meeting were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army officials, the chairperson of a friendly party, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, public organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials of institutions and industrial establishments here, labor innovators and activists in the fisheries of the KPA.

KPA Vice Marshal Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea and director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, addressed the meeting.

Kim Jong Un's assumption of KPA supreme commandership, true to the behests of leader Kim Jong Il, marked a historic event of great significance in developing the revolutionary armed forces and carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche, he said.

Kim Jong Un's two years of leading army-building are shining with his intense loyalty and moral sense of obligation as he has firmly defended and carried forward the Juche-based military idea of Kim Jong Il and his feats performed in army-building.

It was thanks to Kim Jong Un's energetic leadership that all the commanding officers and soldiers have armed themselves with the military strategic idea, tactics and war methods of the Workers' Party of Korea and grown to be competent strategists and a-match-for-a-hundred fighters capable of successfully carrying out any operation and combat duty.

He is a master of creation who is working miracles in building a thriving nation by dint of Songun.

He unfolded a grandiose plan for building a people's paradise on this land to be envied by the world and has always led the KPA to take the lead in it.

The plan of the WPK for making this a year of the greatest heyday in construction has been successfully carried out under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un, who made sure that the KPA steered the whole country to a great leap forward while creating the "speed on Masik Pass", a new a-match-for-a-hundred speed for offensive.

Many monumental edifices have sprung up in the country making a leap forward with dynamism, the overall economy is making progress full of fresh vitality and there has begun a period of renaissance in the building of a highly civilized socialist nation. Seeing this stirring reality, we deeply grasp the outstanding leadership ability of Kim Jong Un, who is realizing the dream of all service personnel and people, giving priority to the army.

Thanks to the might of the Songun politics of the WPK and its independent foreign policy the struggle for national reunification is making dynamic progress nationwide despite the vicious moves of the hostile forces against the DPRK and the international solidarity for the Korean revolution has grown stronger, Choe said, stressing:
