Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- The spokesman for the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea in a statement Sunday denounced the south Korean conservative regime for harshly suppressing the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and railway workers who turned out in a general strike to defend the right to living. The fascist crackdown on the KCTU and railway workers is a thrice-cursed barbarous act of violating the elementary right to living and democracy of the popular masses, and an outright challenge to the righteous desire and wish of all the Koreans, the statement said, and went on: It is impossible to live in peace even a single day with the Park Geun Hye group of traitors left intact as it has been keen on reviving the nightmare-like "yusin" fascist dictatorship through terror-ridden policy under the pretext of security and pursuing unpopular rule after seizing power by dint of frauds and high-handed practices. This is the review made by the people of the one year rule of the Park Geun Hye regime. Being driven into the extreme crisis, the puppet ruling forces are vainly trying to find a way out in the suppression of the popular masses. But it is a preposterous daydream. The masses' righteous desire and wish can never be dampened with bayonet. Fascist dictators going against public mindset and the trend of the times can never evade stern punishment by history. Workers, farmers and other toiling masses of south Korea who turned out in do-or-die actions for the right to existence will surely frustrate the fascist dictatorial rule and bring about new democratic society. All the agricultural workers of the DPRK will always extend positive support and encouragement to the broad popular masses including workers and farmers of south Korea in their righteous actions to defend right to existence and democracy. |
