Russian Papers Commemorate Anniversary of Demise of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Russian papers carried special write-ups illustrated with a portrait of smiling leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the second anniversary of his demise.

The Russian paper My Home-Sochi on Dec. 12 allotted one whole page to articles accompanied by photos of Kim Jong Il and supreme leader Kim Jong Un inspecting KPA units.

The article titled "Peerlessly Patriot General Kim Jong Il" said that the world lost the most outstanding, great man due to his untimely demise on Dec. 17, 2011.

It noted that the original Songun politics pursued by Kim Jong Il serves as an all-powerful treasured sword for reliably defending the sovereignty of the country and nation.

The distinguished feats performed by him serve as an eternal engine to vigorously advance the cause of socialism of the Korean people.

The paper pointed to the fact that he opened a bright prospect for the cause of national reunification.

The 46th issue of the Russian paper Patriot and Komsomolskaya Pravda on Dec. 10 carried articles titled "Rays calling for dynamic advance" and "Snow and Kim Jong Il," praising the undying feats Kim Jong Il performed by victoriously advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche and the revolutionary cause of Songun with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and outstanding leadership.
