S. Korean Regime's Wicked Design Lurking behind Its Fiction about North's "Provocation" Disclosed

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive recently visited a forefront post of the south Korean puppet army for the first time since she took office. There she cried out for "taking a strong and firm counteraction in case of provocation from the north," jabbering "there is great likelihood of its provocation." Earlier, she underscored the need to strengthen an alert posture at a meeting of ministers of foreign affairs and security and that of chief secretaries of Chongwadae, saying that "the security situation remains serious" and "there is no knowing about when the north would provoke." Rodong Sinmun on Monday observes in a commentary in this regard: This is nothing but a clumsy charade for diverting elsewhere the attention focused on the south Korean authorities and getting rid of their crisis. What matters is that the reckless acts of the south Korean warmongers are likely to lead to a war against the north. It is by no means mere hypothesis that the south Korean regime finding itself in a pitfall of destruction may ignite the war as its last resort. However, there is something to warn the south Korean warmongers against. They should not forget the bitter lesson taught by the Yonphong Island shelling incident in which they were hit hard by the merciless retaliatory action taken by the KPA against their firing of a few shells at it under the pretext of "coping with the provocation." Should the enemies fire even a single shell into the north's waters, the service personnel and people of the DPRK will take it as a golden opportunity to launch a sacred war for national reunification and wipe out the provocateurs to the last one. The puppet regime should bear in mind what dear price it will have to pay for any provocation and behave itself. |
